God Has No Grandsons...

What is fellowship?

Fellowship is a participation, communion or to have something in common. Fellowship happens when Christians come together to worship the one true God. Life is all about relationships, without relationships ppl would grow cold and lose life. God made us to fellowship otherwise life would be meaningless and miserable.

Sin comes in the way of fellowship, in other words, sin DESTROYS fellowship. We ourselves must have fellowship not only with one another but with the Holy Spirit as well. The Holy Spirit is not only a person but it's an experience!! You would never know a person well enough unless you have a personal encounter with that person. It goes the same as you can never claim to know God if you don't KNOW God. It comes to the same where you know Michael Jackson but he doesn't know you because there was never a personal encounter

God has no grandsons or grand daughters but only children. We MUST be a direct family member of his household. The negative happenings among the youth these days has not only set foot on the wrong path but has interfered with the fellowship that we should be having with our Big Daddy in heaven. Not necessarily we have sealed the deal after we have said the sinner's prayer, baptized or confirmed.

It's just the beginning of our experience with God. We must know God for ourselves. After we repent and be baptized, we are then given the Holy Spirit which lives in us. True fellowship happens when we have fellowship with God, true fellowship happens when we walk in the light. Referring to 1 John 1:5, where God is light. The word comes from God therefore walking by his word and obeying his command sets us on the right path. And not forgetting we have the Holy Spirit as well which prompts us to know who is the light. In which God is the light and in Him there is no darkness. Fellowship with fellow Christians compared with the secular fellowship with non Christians are never too good for us. Because they do not live by the word that reflects the characters of God, therefore it is very important that we have fellowship wih one another in Christ that we do not step into darkness.

It is vital that we cultivate the relationships that we have with the Father as the lion prowls looking a victim we always have someone to hold on to. As our speaker said "the evil one's office is here, the world is his headquarters". We have to constantly make sure that our fellowship with one another is in the Lord, to be our brother's keeper and to care for one another. So we have to make a choice in our live to either to evangelize or to fossilize.

If we don't look outward, one day, there will be nothing to look inward at. In summary, we should be like the trees rooted directly to our source if live, not like the paku pakis plants which depends on trees to give it's source. Keep in mind because God has only children, not grandchildren.
